Join hand with International community to protect Children and Women in Cambodia

On January 6, 2010, CCPCR has signed an MOU with Rural Area Kids Organization (RAKO USA) to promote Children's right in Cambodia. RAKO USA is a charitable organization from Seattle, Washington.To learn more about RAKO partner please visit www.ruralareakids.org 

On November 20, 2009, the Cambodian Center for the Protection of Children's Rights (CCPCR) has signed an MOU with the Universal Human Rights Network in Washington D.C to provide comprehensive training to law enforcement and administrative personnel with responsibilities for the enforcement of human trafficking laws in Cambodia. The details of the program will be announced in our press release.

CCPCR is seeking international collaboration to protect the rights of the child in Cambodia. Please contact us should your agency interested to be our partner. There are many program activities that you can collaborate with us such as law enforcement training, rescuing, recovery and counseling, shelter and medical care, awareness and publication, education and skills training, monitoring and reintegration, etc. We're pleased to discuss with your agency if you have new initiative in the promotion and protection of children and women's rights in Cambodia.

Our mission is to promote the rights of children and protect them from sexual abuse, exploitation, violence and  HIV/AIDS and trafficking. We have implemented this program in many provinces including, Kampong Cham,  Kampong Thom. The program was focused on:   ·       
  •  Raising awareness of children's rights and the impact of sexual abuse, trafficking, sexual exploitation and the tricks of perpetrators. ·       
  • Encouraging the rural communities to set up a monitoring network to prevent children from rights abuse particularly commercial sexual exploitation. ·       
  •  Strengthening the community by developing networks for protecting at-risk children.
  • Finding  solutions and monitoring cases where children may be at risk in their communities.
